Excellence Punta Cana was a little
disappointing. Not a 5 star resort. The pools were great, food ok, but the
rooms need work. Very old towels and floor mats often given as face towels. The
power goes out a lot, but worse, the water does not work sometimes when the
power goes out. We had a smoke detector that was flashing (hard to sleep when
it is above the bed), so we asked the front deck to have it fixed, but they
never did. The shuttle back to the airport was 2 hours (should be 1 hour) due
to waiting for pickups and the driver going back north past our resort to make
a pickup he missed. We also got sick during our vacation, even though we did
not drink the water (only bottled water), they need filters, since they must
not be cleaning the fruit or something correctly. We will not be going back to
Excellence Punta Cana. |
