I went to Starfish this past February. I
had a wonderful time. My husband and 7-year old can't wait to go back. The
rooms were comfortable and each one had a balcony. I was surprised it was
stocked with liquor.
The resort was loaded with pina colada machines.
What a great combination! The resort was had tons of activities. I could not
squeeze them all in 4 days. I never got a chance to do half of what I planned
even though it was all included. You must stay for at least a week. The beach
was beautiful. The staff was eager to get every guest on a sailboat, especially
1st timers.
The food was delicious. WARNING: The combination of the
food & drinks makes this resort a bad choice for those watching their
weight. The choices were endless, even for my little picky eater. I am glad I
picked this resort in Falmouth, Jamaica. There were too many peddlers in
Montego Bay. Everything I wanted was at Starfish.
My only let down was
a problem at the airport retrieving my rental car. I had not been informed of a
$2000 deposit in US dollars and was not prepared for that unexpected expense.
Try not to book via Yahoo and I guarantee you'll have the time of your
life!!!

We have travelled many times to Trelawny
Beach and were impressed with the many improvements made to the public areas.
The one downside to Guiseppe's Restaurant is the bugs that swarm there. It
drove us away. The entertainment in the evenings is not as good as previously
enjoyed. Bar service has improved greatly. It was nice to see many familiar
faces amongst the staff who have returned with the re-opening. The new pools
are busy and give many choices of where to swim. Many activities for the
children. An overall great improvement to a resort that was starting to show
it's age. |
