My second trip to Seagrape Villas in Negril Jamaica on the cliffs past the 7-mile beach was better than the first. Bob Marley himself slept here in the 1970s and the manager Juicy can tell you about it. The big cabin is Big Grape and is open to the ocean but has privacy as well. This is not an all inclusive but there are plenty restaurants close by, mon. LTU Pub, Rockhouse, and Negril Escape are close by and Juicy provides coffee and local breads for breakfast included in the rate. Nudity is cool on the cliffs and around the house, just make sure and provide for the help as you can---they are your best introduction to Jamaica...

Making a first visit to CAFS was a no brainer, after seeing its Sagittarius cottage from next door at Banana Shout for the last 10 years. It is situated on a point right on the famous cliffs of Negril. This cottage has almost continual breezes wafting through and stays pretty cool all day long.

This cottage was made for naturists with 2 private patios and views up and down the west coast of Jamaica, with the famous sunsets right out in the ocean every night! Banana Shout is no longer clothing-optional, so I needed a new place to hang and this is it! Off season, Sagittarius is about $130 a night including a great breakfast served on the porch....choose from eggs, french toast, and ackee and saltfish, Jamaica's national dish.CAFS used to advertise in C/O magazines, but not in a while.

I had no problem swimming with the other guests who were not completely naked--one girl was topless, but nobody minded. I have noticed a tendency towards conservative on the cliffs in the last 10 years, but CAFS remains a place for naked people to enjoy an inexpensive vacation naked in a great place.

Don't forget to patronize Leroy across the street, who sells some of the best jerk chicken in the West End from his oilcan grill---He has been featured on "Best Food of the Caribbean" on the travel channel!

Dusty - December 2005
Wilma and Katrina did alot of damage to the west end and not all places have decided to rebuild. Ocean Edge is up and running and still clothing optional cliffside--ask for Kingsley. Drumville Cove is in rubble basically and for sale. Rocalto/Rock Cliff is still halfway finished but say they will continue the clothing optional weeks when rebuilt--maybe by next summer. Banana Shout has been sold and the new owner is "not sure" whether he wants to continue c.o status....read that as a no. Catcha Falling Star is almost finished and still c/o....I think that's where I am trying next--they have a cottage on a point of land right at the ocean that rents for $120 a nite in the off season! Also Citronella is running and the outer cottages are c/o. If you go during the xmas season make sure and get your hands on sorrel wine--it's wonderful! Peace--Dusty

Every once in a while, you hit on something really special, and you wish you had found it years ago- that is what my wife & I found at Resort Euphoria in the WestEnd area of Negril. When we landed at Mobay, we were greated and picked up by none other than the OWNER of the resort, Tony. And to top it off, he brought us some jerk chicken to munch on! Special already! Within 30 seconds of meeting Tony, I felt like I was visiting one of my old best friends from high school , and felt like I was right at home. His favorite saying is, you're not a visitor, you're a guest. That feeling pervaded our entire stay a the resort. Tony and his wonderful staff bent over backwards to make sure everything was just right, and we were constantly happy & relaxed. Tony made and served us coffee personally every morning, and Mrs. Crooks made us the most delicious breakfasts, and served them at the oceanfront palapas every morning. Even the gardener& chambermaid became good friends with us!

As for the resort itself, it is genuinely a NUDIST resort for one week each month( E-mail them for a schedule), the rest of the time it is clothing-optional in certain areas. We have been to many so-called Nudest resorts, that in reality are very hung up on rules such as requiring clothing (UGH!) while dining, in certain areas, etc. These places I must say, we will never return to! You can rest assured that if you go to ResortEuphoria during a Nude week, you will not have to wear clothes, ever. To me, that's what it's all about.

The resort is very secluded, no outsiders will be getting in to "gawk". It has a 10-foot deep pool, hot-tub, restaurant, two bars, and fantastic cliff-diving ledges only steps away from your room, as only Negril can do! The snorkeling is great also, as there is a 50-ft. deep natural trench right down the ladder, which goes seemingly forever out into the ocean.

Speaking of Negril, if you've been to Hedo or Grand Lido, you HAVE'NT been to Negril! After 20 years of visits, I thought I knew it all, but I was wrong-you must explore the WestEnd if you want to see the REAL Jamaica! ResortEuphoria is right on the West End Road, which is where all of the real Jamaican shops and people are found. Tony was kind enough to take us on several walking tours "down the road" to show us where to get the BEST authentic Jamaican food, at unbelievably low prices . This food is FANTASTIC, not like what you will find at the so-called "genuine" Jamaican restaurants at the big resorts.

The only thing I didn't like about our trip to "Tony's" was that it didn't last long enough! We were blessed, though, by hurricane Isabel hitting the U.S., and "stranding" us in Negril for one more day!

So if you're looking for a TRUE Naturist vacation, a place where you will NOT be hassled to cover up, where you can relax in total comfort and dine on great home-cooked meals, ResortEuphoria is a must- visit. I know we will be going back as soon as possible!
